An aerodrome risk assessment rates what makes an aerodrome demanding to operate into: its approach, terrain, obstacles, runway and rescue cover. In eAviora each aerodrome is categorised A, B or C against EASA, FAA or ICAO criteria, approved by the role its category requires, and flagged for revalidation before its approval ends.

What it does
Four things, done on the record
Categorised A, B or C
The most severe answer across the criteria sets the aerodrome’s category.
Unknown is never low
A criterion nobody has verified is answered unknown, which holds the category at C until it is resolved.
Conditional approvals, tracked
Each condition has an owner and can carry a due date, and is marked met with a note.

Which regulations do the criteria follow?
Three catalogs ship: EASA’s A, B and C categorisation, the FAA’s special-qualification airports, and an ICAO baseline from Annexes 6 and 14 and Doc 8168.
What happens when an approval is about to end?
A daily check flags the assessment 30 days before its approval ends. Revalidation then opens a new assessment that replaces it.
Can an approval carry conditions?
Yes. A conditional approval lists each condition with an owner, and every condition stays open until someone marks it met.
